Victim

Support

For CoLAB 2021, I worked with 7 other students; 3 second-year Product design students, 2 fellow second-year Interior Architecture and Design students and 2 first-year Interior Architecture and Design students to tackle a brief sent to us by Victim Support's Humber and South Yorkshire Branch. Although, Victim Support offer support from a range of crimes we decided to focus on their support of victims of hate crimes due to the recent increase in the number of incidents reported and witnessed. For this, we created three heads to represent the victim before the hate crime, after the hate crime but before they have spoken to someone at Victim Support and finally after the victim has gone to Victim Support for help, demonstrating the newfound strength the victim has after experiencing the hate crime.
