Sleeping Pod Space

The bases of this project was to essentially create a sleeping experience that mimics being back in the amniotic sac in the womb. There are two variations of the pods that differ due to their type of mattress and if they are suspended or not. The suspended pods are designed with a memory foam mattress that allows the pods to be lightweight and suspended a meer 40cm above the ground. The grounded pods feature a water mattress that allows the user to experience slight movement like in the suspended pods but also makes the pods heavier than the suspended pods. Both pods however, allow the user to change the lighting and sound within them to their taste and thus creating a fully sensual experience for the user.
